Alright, these are my Skorne lists as I will play them for the rest of 2010 - and possible into SR2011 as well.
Army Name: eMakeda Skorne 50+5 points, 31 models
Supreme Archdomina Makeda +5 points * Bronzeback Titan 10 points * Cyclops Shaman 5 points * Molik Karn 11 points * Titan Gladiator 8 points
6 Paingiver Beast Handlers 3 points 10 Praetorian Swordsmen 6 points * Praetorian Officer & Standard Bearer 2 points Totem Hunter 3 points 6 Venator Reivers 5 points Void Spirit 2 points And...
Army Name: Zaal Skorne 50+5 points, 39 models
Supreme Aptimus Zaal +5 points * Kovaas * Bronzeback Titan 10 points * Cyclops Shaman 5 points * Molik Karn 11 points
2x Ancestral Guardian 3 points each 10 Immortals 8 points 4 Paingiver Beast Handlers 2 points 10 Praetorian Swordsmen 6 points * Praetorian Officer & Standard Bearer 2 points 6 Venator Reivers 5 points
Overall plan? Well, the eMakeda list is just hard. The guided missile that is Molik Karn will disrupt anything and anyone, and the rest of the list just synergizes so well with eMakeda. My main go-to list.
The Zaal list, on the other hand, is my "fun" list. If you notice, a lot of the same minis are in the two lists, this is to ensure me having an easier time playing the lists during the timed turns of SR2010. Also, the warbeasts are reused. I don't really know if Zaal plays that well. If he turns out to suck, I'll look into the new big guy being carried around. Also, a lot of new stuff is coming to the world of Hordes, the new Warlock attachment being one too.
Anyway, I need a lot of playtesting, and I need my minis, and I need my cards. And, of course, I need to paint the lot. I aim to be done by the 16th of October, when Danish Masters 2010 is scheduled to set sails.
Hesse > Some thoughts on Necron Comp for S3
Great news! I finally got around to play the new Necrons a bit, and what can I say - I'm very satisfied! It's great to have my hands on an army that can shoot pretty decently, have a nice durability and really appeals to me.
Hesse > First Necron list + battle report
I have, through some rather shady canals, gotten hold of the new Necron Codex - no more rumour mongering for me, just the bare truth from the author himself!
Michael Boserup Hesselberg > Necrons confirmed with a teaser
GW put out one of their daily updates, concerning Dark Eldars, Polish Tomb Kings and...something else. It looks like the Necrons actually got a teaser trailer.
